Lady Gaga, who recently released her album Mayhem, was speculated to take the stage along side Sir Elton John at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez wedding.
Although fans were excited for the reunion of the 39-year-old singer and the legendary star, it was never meant to happen.
According to TMZ, the Bad Romance hitmaker and the Your Song crooner were “never approached to play the wedding.”
The outlet also shut down the rumours about the “gigantic fee” that was reportedly asked by the singers apiece, calling the story “laughable.”
This also put an end to talks about Jeff turning down the singers after they reportedly demanded whooping amounts for the musicales.
The businessman was trolled for “being worth a quarter trillion dollars and not spending $6M on Lady Gaga” for the big day.
The union was deemed plausible as the two share a close bond together. Gaga is the godmother of Sir Elton’s children.

The friendship between the duo, who met in the late 2000s, has gotten strong with the passage of time. The Blood Mary songstress paid a gushing tribute to the icon by singing his hit Your Song in front of him.
