Young Thug spotted in studio as release deadline looms
The rapper’s appearance in the studio comes as a relief for fans as his album nears its release date
Young Thug is believed to be hard at work as he strives to deliver upon his promise.
The Stoner hitmaker announced the title of his upcoming album, Uy Scuti, a few weeks ago.
Since the announcement, there have been rumours and speculations about when the album would be released, as well as which artists might appear alongside Thugger.
Earlier this month, Thug was interviewed by fellow Atlanta singer and longtime girlfriend Mariah the Scientist for GQ Magazine.
When asked about the release date of his next album, the 33-year-old said, “June 37th... June 37th, be ready."
Some online users thought the project would come out on June 10 since 3+7=10, while others believed that the artist simply meant July 7th.
The first date has now come and gone, with only the second option remaining and fans are getting increasingly anxious because it is only a few days away.
However, the album might be close to being released after all, after a photo surfaced of Thugger inside a recording studio.
The image was posted by Our Generation Music on Instagram with the caption “Y’all ready for some new #YoungThug music.”
The Atlanta native also has been promoting his upcoming project with unusual tactics as he sent pet tarantulas to rappers like PlaqueBoyMax and Machine Gun Kelly in a glass case with the engraving, “Take care of me until we reach UY SCUTI.”
Is Young Thug on probation?
Young Thug was released from prison last October on a 15-year probation sentence after making a plea deal in the YSL RICO case.
