An unexpected clash of culture in global pop is about to begin after an Australian artist took it upon himself to take down a K-pop band.
Allday is a rapper from Down Under who has accused a South Korean group of stealing his stage name.
The band ALLDAY PROJECT faces a trademark dispute after they allegedly used the Aussie’s moniker without his permission.
The accuser’s real name is Tomas Henry Gaynor, who recently posted a screenshot of a news piece about the alleged perpetrators.
Along with the screenshot, Gaynor said his fans have reached out to him about the trademark infringement.
“I have a trademark on the name Allday”, the rapper went on and slammed the entire K-pop genre.
The singer admitted that he might not be a household name but he does “exist” and “own the trademark.”
Allday concluded by declaring “Prepare for the greatest legal battle of all time.”
Things took a weird turn when Gaynor shared a follow-up and revealed that he is willing to drop the lawsuit if they allow him to join ALLDAY PROJECT.
He did not finish there, however, and demanded that the group fire one of their members and make him the “main guy”
K-pop co-ed band ALLDAY PROJECT made their debut on 23 June 2025.
