The American rapper ASAP Rocky reveals plans for family during Rihanna’s third pregnancy
A$AP Rocky and Rihanna, who share two sons together, chose the 2025 Met Gala to announce their third pregnancy.
Although the Diamonds hitmaker revealed in 2020 interview that she wants to have three or four kids, her beau seemingly has other plans.
While speaking to Entertainment Tonight at Smurfs premiere, the rapper was asked: “how big is this family going to get?”
He gave a witty reply to the question by saying: “We’re going to be like the Wayans Family,” who notably had nine siblings working in the industry.
The Sundress crooner, holding a smurfette, explained why he wants to have a big family: “love is beautiful and it’s just spreading it.”
Although the couple appeared in high spirits, fans expressed their frustration as they believe that her album R9 is being delayed because of recurring pregnancies.
One of the X users posted a clip from the Met Gala 2025 with a caption: “Rihanna pregnant again that album is NEVER coming.”
Another music lover admitted they “accepted that we’re never getting that album.”
A third one recalled that the songstress “has not step foot in a studio since 2016” as her record Anti came out in that year.
Why is Rihanna delaying R9?
However, the Grammy winner made it clear on the fashion event that her album’s release date and her expecting another child do not have any relationship.
She added: “I can sing.”
