English actor Jason Isaacs has opened up about his past struggles with his now-wife Emma Hewitt.
The couple got married in 2001 and had two daughters but Jason has revealed that the path was not was at all.
In a recent interview with Vulture, the actor said that it was drugs that affected his relationship at the time and he almost lost his lover.
“Well, we did break up for a while”, The actor said, Seven-year itch, you know. She left me for a while. I forced her to leave me because I was a zombie.”.
The British actor revealed that seven years into the relationship Emma and him broke up because of his addiction.
Jason said “She's the only one who saw how dark I was”, revealing that Emma stuck with him during the darkest times of his life.
The actor went on to get sober in 1998 and then married Emma in 2001, whom he has been married to ever since.
