Kim Kardashian slams Donald Trump in new statement
The socialite has vocally opposed the President of USA
Many celebrities in Hollywood have been vocal critics of the current president of US, Donald Trump.
Much of the opposition against Trump stems from conservative policies, including the recent U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids.
After Trump came into power for the second time in January 2025, the US Government officials activated Operation Safeguard, which aims to quickly detain and expel undocumented migrants in major cities across America.
The mass deportations have been criticised by many celebrities including Selena Gomez, Sabrina Carpenter, Jenna Ortega, Olivia Rodrigo and Pedro Pescal.
Now, the TV star Kim Kardashian has joined the discourse to raise voice against the raids.
Kim was questioned about her views on the policy before receiving an award recognising her work advocating for prison reform at Diane von Furstenberg's DVF Awards in Venice, Italy.
The fashion diva said, “It's really tough, but I think that we have to do what we can to protect the people that have really supported and built our country.”
She said those people “have worked so hard to build our country, and so many people that are such a part of our country getting affected”.
