Anna Wintour is one of the most recognisable faces of the fashion world as she has been the editor-in-chief of the Vogue America for 37 years.
The editor has now announced that she is stepping down from the role after taking it in 1988.
The news was confirmed on June 25 by Condé Nast.
The 75-year-old is not leaving Vogue completely but will still work as the global editorial director of Vogue. She has only stopped back from the day-to-day operations of the U.S. edition.
Vogue, has now entered a new era and fashion enthusiast are anticipating who will take Anna’s place now.
Many fashion editors are now topping the list of possible contenders.
British-Ghanaian Edward Enninful is being named accros social media platforms as Anna’s successor, alongside 45-year-old Eva Chen. Amy Astley’s name has also been making rounds.
No official confirmation has been made regarding the new editor-in-chief.
