Jenna Ortega switches up style for ‘Wednesday’ fan event in Australia

Jenna Ortega isn’t resisting experimenting with dark, gothic fashion as she goes on a world tour promoting her Netflix breakout series, Wednesday Season 2.

Until now, Ortega has been experimenting with blacks and darks, and even when she tried a skin-coloured dress, the reptilian, skin-like texture spoke volumes about her gloomy personality.

Stepping onto the red carpet of a fan event on Cockatoo Island in Sydney, Australia, Netflix’s macabre darling stunned in a leather, pumpkin-orange and black-striped Fendi dress.

However, the dress was channelling enough intimacy in her aura; it was giving more of Beetlejuice and less Wednesday vibes.

Ortega’s striped dress featured a captivating cutout at the back, making it backless and giving off a Halloween-esque, bee-meets-goth aesthetic.

Wrapping herself in a chocolate-and-black faux fur and leather coat, the Primetime Emmy winner finished her look with khaki-and-black gradient ankle metallic boots with silver spiked heels.

Ortega accessorised her look with mixed silver and gold necklaces and rings by Martha Calvo, Rainbow K, and Yvonne Léon.

Overall, Addams’ daughter perfectly captured the signature moody aura that matches the eerie, dark theme of Wednesday herself.
