Dermot Mulroney has officially filed for separation from his wife of 15 years, Prima Apollinaare
Actor Dermot Mulroney has officially filed for separation from his wife of 15 years, Prima Apollinaare, with whom he shares two daughters.
Reportedly representing himself, he has cited irreconcilable differences at the reason for the divorce, citing the date of separation as “TBD”.
He has further requested that the fees of their attorneys be split between them, and for joint custody of their children, Mabel Ray, 17, and Sally June, 15.
Mulroney has asked to terminate the court’s option of providing spousal support to his wife, but has requested it for himself.
A source that spoke to People said about the situation, "No one is asking for anything, and no one is denying anything. They are not arguing over the children nor money. They used mediators, not lawyers, as they are friends and this is amicable. They were advised to file this way."
The actor has also stated that “all community earnings and accumulation during marriage through the date of separation” will officially be considered as community property.
Mulroney and Apollinaare begna their relationship in 2008 and ended up having their first daughter the same year.
