'Squid Game Season 3' brings sizzling summer heat

The clock has started ticking as the release date of Netflix all-time hit series Squid Game is coming closer. Just after four days, the South-Korean popular series is set for premiere on June 27, 2025.

OTT giant streaming platform Netflix is going to live stream Parade Finale fan event on June 28 from Gwanghwamun Square to Seoul Plaza at 19:30 KST.

So, fasten your seat belts and be ready to see the known foes, new games and skyrocketing stakes in Squid Game Season 3. 

There are many questions that still need their answers: what will happen to Team X or Team O? Right or Left? Will Red Light or Green Light games continue to claim more lives, or would anyone be able to put an end to? Well, for this, we have to wait till June 27 to get all the answers. But for now, Netflix has offered us a sneak peek into what’s going to happen to Gi-Hun, his friends and foes, in the bloody battles ahead.

At Tudum, series director Hwang Dong-Hyuk said, "the new season will be focusing on what Gi-Hun can and will do after all his efforts fail,” the remorse is so evident in the trailer of Season 3.

Revisiting the action so far…Was Season 2 a thrilling sequel?

The season 2 was a mix of twists and turns, but somehow it failed to live up to the expectations of Squid Game fans. Gi-Hun headed a failed rebellion, the death of his beloved friend, and a painful betrayal!

Now the Squid Game Season 3 will pick up where it wrapped up when Gi-Hun was arrested by the Front Man. Fans are eager to watch whether In-ho resume his role as a Front Man, and would Jun-Ho (brother of Front Man) would succeed in his search out mission (not knowing that there’s a traitor in their midst)? If Gi-Hun failed to make the right decisions this time around, it would become impossible to finish these deadly games once forever, but we’ve to wait till June 27 to get all the answers.

The robotic girl is going to be a lethal killing machine in the finale of the Squid Game Season 3. Fans hoping that Gi-Hun would be able to confront the Killing Machine in his final showdown with The Front Man.
