Hollywood legend Jack Betts passed away in his California home at the age of 96.
Jack starred in the iconic sitcom Friends on which he played the role of Tom.
The late actor’s nephew told The Hollywood Reporter that the actor died in his home while asleep on June 19.
Social media has been flooded with fans mourning the death of the legend.
“RIP to a legend. Jack Betts brought so much to the screen — from gritty westerns to comic book charm.”, a fan wrote.
Following the actor’s death, reports have been suggesting that he was Everybody Loves Raymond star Doris Roberts’ husband, which has been proven false.
The two shared a house until Doris passed away in 2016.
The acting legend was most known for his role in Sam Raimi’s 2002 take on Spider-Man, in which he played businessman Henry Balkan.
