Kanye West suffered a setback just days after showing support for his long-time friend Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is on trial for sex trafficking charges.
The Chicago rapper has faced a major blow as his $450,000 asset was seized from the parking lot of the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles (LA).
According to DailyMail, the Runaway hitmaker’s luxury car, custom Maybach, was spotted being hauled away from the Chateau Marmont on Tuesday on the back of a tow truck.
The exact reason behind the seizure remains unclear. However, this incident adds to the mounting challenges faced by the 48-year-old rapper and producer.
Ye, formerly Kanye, is yet to address the matter.
Just hours after the incident, Diddy’s son, Christian Combs, paid the rapper a visit with his entourage. He appeared to be in good spirits, wearing a red shirt paired with three quarter camouflage shorts.
Since the Bad Boy Records founder’s arrest in September 2024, the 24-time Grammy Award winner has been offering support to the incarcerated rapper’s family.
Diddy’s song, Lonely Roads Still Go To Sunshine, pays tribute to Kanye for his support to the incarcerated rapper’s family.
The lyrics of the song read, “I just wanna thank you so much for taking care of my kids, man. Cause ain’t nobody reach out to me.”
