Why Prince Harry is finally sharing photos of Archie and Lilibet

Prince Harry is reportedly sharing more photos of his children, Archie and Lilibet, in a bid to reconnect with King Charles, who he claims has distanced himself from the Sussex family.

According to a source close to the Duke of Sussex, Harry is “heartbroken” over the King’s refusal to speak with or see his grandchildren, not even via Zoom. 

The insider told The Daily Mail: “He’s tried everything – calls, letters... This is his way of saying, ‘Look at what you’re missing.’”

King Charles is believed to have met Princess Lilibet only once, in 2022, and has spent very limited time with Prince Archie, now six.

Meghan Markle, who recently relaunched her Instagram account @meghan, has started posting glimpses of their private life, including never-before-seen photos of the children for Father’s Day.

On a recent podcast episode with Emma Grede, Meghan said: “I’m just grateful that now, being back on social… I can share it on my own terms.”

While the Sussexes once prioritized privacy, Harry’s quiet photo campaign appears to be a final attempt to bridge the widening gap between his family in California and the royal family in the UK.
