Rebel Wilson shines at ‘Bride Hard’ premiere after face injury on set

Rebel Wilson appeared composed and prepared for battle at the Los Angeles premiere of her action film Bride Hard.

The 45-year-old actress from Pitch Perfect plays a maid of honour in the movie, which shows a mercenary group holding a wedding hostage, but Rebel's character is actually a secret agent.

There are numerous stunts in the action movie, many of which were performed by Meredith Richardson, Rebel's stunt double.

However, Rebel had a "freak accident" on set that left her face nearly "permanently disfigured," necessitating nose surgery.

She appeared to be fully recovered as she attended the film's Los Angeles premiere on Wednesday at the DGA Theatre Complex, accompanied by her Pitch Perfect co star Anna Camp.

As she walked the red carpet, Rebel flaunted her trim figure in a bright red gown with shoulder pads and a plunging neckline.

Rebel Wilson is currently filming the 2025 picture, Tinsel Town, a Christmas film in which Rebel plays the character Jill. The actress is also making her directorial debut with the musical-turned-movie, The Deb.
