Drake has lately been the subject of mostly positive news as he shrugs off bitter feuds and works on personal growth.
The rapper recently wished his dad Dennis Graham a happy Father’s Day and called him his “OG.”
The Canadian artist has been upbeat on social media with announcements like he is entering a “new chapter” in life.
However, the God’s Plan singer might have stumbled onto another controversy after allegations that he did not write his songs.
The accusations come from Lil Wayne’s son Lil Novi, who made the claims by discussing the two long-time collaborators.
Novi said that his father wrote “most” of Drake’s songs and even went on to assert that Drizzy would be nothing without Weezy.
The passionate son’s claims come a few days after his sister, Reginae Carter, publicly defended their father from critics.
Wayne released his fourteenth solo studio album earlier this month, which is the sixth instalment in the highly successful Tha Carter series.
However, the latest offering failed to secure the top spot on the Billboard charts, with critics also giving it mixed reviews.
In April, Drake announced his ninth solo album during a livestream with Adin Ross. "Working on a new album right now... It slaps," the rapper said.
