Sarah Ferguson made the first statement after the Yorks were seemingly 'sidelined' by the royal family at a significant gathering.
The Duchess of York highlighted the importance of spreading mental health awareness in her new message on Instagram.
Following her visit to Paracelsus Recovery in Zurich, Sarah urged people to openly talk about mental health issues and how we can "improve access to mental healthcare across society."
Speaking about her recent meaningful trip, she said, "I recently spent time at @paracelsusrecovery in Zurich, a clinic known for its discreet, bespoke care for those facing complex mental health and addiction challenges, to learn more."
Sarah shared that meeting with the clinic's founder was "illuminating."
Their "mission is one I deeply respect and share: to bring mental health out of the shadows and into open, compassionate conversation."
At the end of her note, Sarah made an emotional plea, stating, "If you or someone you know is struggling, I encourage you to seek help. You are not alone, and there is no shame in taking the steps towards healing.."
It is important to note that the Duchess of York released an important life update after she, her former husband, Prince Andrew and their daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie, were visibly absent from the Trooping the Colour event.
