Kendrick Lamar might have just proved why he is the top rapper in the whole world after the most recent demonstration of his immense popularity.
K.Dot and SZA are currently co-headlining their Grand National Tour, which was announced last December to further promote their Grammy-winning album, GNX.
Things got a bit tense as Lamar recently stepped foot on his rival Drake’s territory for the first time since the intensification of their feud in 2024.
The artist made his tour stop in Drizzy’s hometown of Toronto with heavy security to perform two concerts at the Rogers Centre over the weekend.
While the Compton native did not pour gasoline on the flame, he did sing his most famous diss track Not Like Us.
While showcasing his influence, Lamar has achieved another milestone.
According to Hot 97, the 37-year-old has become the first rapper to completely sell out multiple nights at Toronto’s Rogers Centre.
The stadium has a reported capacity of 40,000, and the record is likely to hold a special place in Lamar’s heart given that the accomplishment took place in Drake’s home city.
Kendrick Lamar’s Grand National Tour consists of 39 performances across North America and Europe, with the first show held in Minneapolis on 19th April and the last in Stockholm on 18th June.
