David Beckham brings the vibes to Inter Miami training

David Beckham made an unexpected appearance at the team's training facility as Inter Miami finalises preparations for their Club World Cup opener.

As he watched the team train under the Florida sun, the club co-owner and former England captain looked relaxed in an ash grey T-shirt, dusky brown trousers, and a white cap.

Beckham was briefly seen entering the pitch, not in uniform, shaking hands and sharing laughs.

The team smiled as he casually kicked the ball around while it was at his feet. He also spoke with head coach Javier Mascherano.

His visit comes just hours before Saturday night's opening match of the expanded tournament between Inter Miami and Egyptian powerhouse Al Ahly.

For the MLS team, who secured their first trophy in 2023 by winning the Leagues Cup, the game marks a huge milestone.

Does David Beckham still play football?

David Beckham is no longer a professional football player. He played for 20 years before retiring in 2013. He has since concentrated on his business, co-owning Inter Miami CF, among other things. He also serves as a global ambassador and is involved in philanthropy.
