Sabrina Carpenter claps back at critics over sultry performance

Sabrina Carpenter's most recent tour was infamously sultry.

The Espresso hitmaker has now demonstrated once more that she is genuinely at ease with who she is.

During the ethereal photo shoot, she posed with her long, blonde hair falling down her back and her arms carefully covering her chest.

Given her embrace of sex during her Short and Sweet tour, where she famously strikes a variety of X-rated poses as part of her Juno song routine, the display is not shocking.

Fans can be heard applauding during these instances, but the pop star has also come under fire for the inappropriate behaviour.

In response to the hate, Carpenter remarked movingly that fans prefer the sex-centric songs.

"It's always so funny to me when people complain," she said of her Juno moments to Rolling Stone. "'All she does is sing about this,' they say. You are the one who popularised those songs. You obviously enjoy having sex. You have an obsession with it."

In December 2023, Carpenter started dating Irish actor Barry Keoghan. In May 2024, they moved into a $4.4 million home in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills neighbourhood.
