A woman was caught as she attempted to break into the home of K-pop group BTS member, Jeon Jungkook.

Hours after the singer completed his mandatory military service, the Chinese woman was seen entering random numbers on a lock outside his apartment in Seoul, according to the authorities.

She admitted to flying into the country to see the idol, but ended up getting arrested for trespassing.

The increased frenzy and anticipation from fans of the group is triggered by the fact that Jungkook and three other band members were discharged from their military service this week.

All seven members are set to be discharged by the end of this month, and their agency Hybe Entertainment has hinted at a reunion after their hiatus.

Fans gathered and even flew in from other countries to wait outside the agency to celebrate the idols’ return.

Jungkook thanked fans for their support, admitting to being embarrassed after not having been in front of cameras for a while.

"I didn't even put on makeup," the singer remarked.

The mandatory military service requires all able bodied men between the ages of 18 and 28 to serve for two years.
