Kendrick Lamar and SZA are living the life as they continue to co-headline their Grand National Tour.
The tour was announced last December to further promote the 37-year-old’s Grammy-winning album, GNX.
The all-stadium tour consists of 39 performances across North America and Europe, with the first show held in Minneapolis on April 19 and the last in Stockholm on June 18.
The duo made a stop in Chicago, where they treated the city’s natives with their electrifying performance.
However, one little fan got to see his favourite artist much closer than he or his mother ever anticipated.
In a video captured by one of the attendees, the Not Like Us singer stopped mid-performance to give a shout-out to a young boy in a hoodie.
The moment quickly went viral and K.Dot’s fans praised the singer for his humility and for giving the kid a moment to remember.
Lamar is currently enjoying his generational run that started last year and is not showing signs of losing any momentum.
According to Hip Hop All Day, Lamar’s GNT has so far earned over $112 million, surpassing his own 2023’s The Big Steppers Tour, which raked in $110.8 million.
In essence, GNT has become one of the top five highest-grossing hip-hop tours in history.
Rolling Stone reports that the cheapest tickets for Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s Grand National Tour are around $107, with some vendors also offering the passes at about $150.
