Everyone knows that Drake is an avid gambler who proudly places high-stakes bets on various sporting events.
Whether it is an NBA game or a boxing match, Drizzy’s well-known gambling habit has made him a lot of money while also causing significant losses, leading many to believe in the existence of the “Drake Curse.”
The curse simply means that the God’s Plan rapper loses every time he bets a significant amount on an important competition.
Most recently, Drake placed $1.25 million on the Toronto Maple Leafs to win Game 7 in the second round of the NHL playoffs.
The singer’s hometown team suffered an embarrassing loss to the Florida Panthers, as many claimed that the curse had struck again.
However, the relatively massive deficit does not seem to hinder the 38-year-old from continuing to gamble.
And it seems that Drake is exploring new avenues to change his luck and make himself some dough.
On Monday, he posted a screenshot of a gambling receipt that reveals a $750,000 bet on the Royal Challengers Bengaluru to beat the Punjab Kings in the finals of the 2025 Indian Premier League.
The cricket match is set to be played on Tuesday in Ahmedabad, India and Drake could win over $1.3 million if the bet goes his way.
Drizzy recently appeared in a commercial for sports betting company Stake in which he outright dismissed the notion of a so-called curse.
