Olivia Munn has dished on her Your Friends & Neighbors co-star Amanda Peet’s recent reveal about her breast cancer journey.
The 45-year-old, who is a breast cancer survivor, revealed how she learned about the news and the one thing that made her feel relieved.
In an interview with People, the Magic Mike actress stated, “She told me last year that she was diagnosed, and I was so relieved she found it at such an early, early stage,” referring to the 54-year-old who recently made the diagnosis public in an essay.
“She found it at almost the earliest you can find it. She really was given a gift of finding it so early that she doesn’t have to do all the treatment and all the stuff you have to do for years and years to come. “She’s incredibly lucky, and it’s another reminder that early detection saves lives,” Olivia added.
Amanda had written in her essay that her parents were in hospice and her father was apbout to pass when she got her diagnosis.
Notably, the Something's Gotta Give actress also revealed that her father passed before she could reach him and it was only after his death that she could even begin thinking about her diagnosis.
