Olivia Munn EXPOSES ‘The Newsroom’ director

Olivia Munn has exposed a director from The Newsroom who made false claims about the actress after a mere disagreement on the set of the show.

The 44-year-old American actress, who played the role of Sloan Smith on the HBO series, premiered in 2012, shared the details about her disagreement with a The Newsroom director, who then retaliated by making false allegations against her.

The Predator star appeared on Armchair with Dax Shepherd podcast and revealed, “There was a storyline on the show where my character and Tom Sadoski’s character are dating and falling in love.”

The actress added that the unnamed director tried to force the whole storyline on me, saying: “Can you flirt with him? Can you kiss him?, and I am like ‘this is in the middle of working’.”

The Courage Award winner said “I later found out that he was making false allegations about my work ethic,” adding that the director tried to ruin my chances of getting any other roles.

“Once, I was about to get a role in a movie and my manager called and said, ‘Hey, you’re gonna get the role but a director, who the movie’s management know from The Newsroom, is alleging that you were late all the time and challenging to work with’,” the actress shared.

She clarified her stance via her reps and got the role, however, expressed, “It was very unfortunate how he reacted just because of a mere difference in our approach to a role.”
