Meghan Markle’s latest Instagram post on her lifestyle brand As Ever’s account is getting a lot of side-eyes, and it’s not because of her dog.
The Duchess shared a snap of her beagle Mia with her face buried in a basket of freshly picked veggies. The caption read: “The unofficial quality inspector of this morning’s garden haul.”
But fans were quick to question how that many veggies, and so clean, ended up in one seasonal haul.
In the basket: broccoli, carrots, red peppers, sweetcorn, spring onions, squash, and a bunch of herbs.
“Huh. She’s so good at gardening she can grow all things from all seasons at once,” one person joked.
“Who’s harvesting corn in May?” another asked, noting that California’s corn season usually starts in June, according to California Farmland Trust.
Others pointed out the produce looked a little too perfect, more like a farmers’ market visit than a backyard harvest.
Still, some of the haul, like spring onions, carrots, and certain squash, could technically be in season depending on the variety and local climate.
