Meghan Markle may be making headlines left and right, but according to Netflix boss Ted Sarandos, the world still doesn’t fully get her power.
Speaking about the Duchess of Sussex’s rising influence, Sarandos said Meghan, 43, is “underestimated” especially when it comes to her cultural impact.
“People are fascinated with Meghan Markle,” Sarandos said, adding that she’s far more influential than many give her credit for.
Following the March release of her Netflix cooking show With Love, Meghan, the series was quickly renewed for a second season, and now, insiders are whispering about a third already being in the works.
A source told The Sun on Sunday that Meghan’s relationship with Netflix “goes far deeper than many people realise,” with Sarandos reportedly calling her a “rock star.”
Season one of With Love, Meghan featured a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo from Prince Harry, who popped in during the final episode to praise his wife at a brunch event.
Their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, did not appear in the show.
No release date has been announced yet for Season 2, but with Meghan's momentum and Netflix's backing, she's clearly just getting started.
