This year is shaping up to be a historic one for Drizzy as he put a rough 2024 behind him.
The rapper released his collaborative album $ome $exy $ongs 4 U on Valentine’s Day, which was a joint effort between the artist and fellow Canadian PARTYNEXTDOOR.
According to HipHopDX, SSS4U has sold over one million units in the United States, making the album eligible for the Recording Industry Association of America’s Platinum certification.
The album saw an 8,500% spike in vinyl sales after it was released in the vintage format last week.
Earlier this month, it was also revealed that SSS4U’s single NOKIA has become the best-selling song of 2025.
Which brings us to Wednesday, when Chart Data reported that two more of Drake’s songs are now RIAA diamond-certified.
The 38-year-old now has a total of ten tracks to achieve this significant milestone, as no other artist has that many diamond-certified songs.
The two entries on the list are 2009’s Best I Ever Had and Hold On, We’re Going Home, which was released in 2013.
Interestingly, neither song had enjoyed massive success when they were initially released, as Best I Ever Had failed to reach the top of the Billboard Hot 100, while the other track peaked at number four on the same chart.
While it has not been officially announced, many fans speculate that the title of Drake’s next album is Iceman after his recent social media post with the caption “I C E M A N.”
