Nicki Minaj caused some buzz on Memorial Day with a seemingly thoughtful online poll.
The raptress took to Instagram on Monday and asked her followers a simple but meaningful question with four possible answers.
Minaj targeted the mothers of a single child to ask whether they feel guilt about not giving their kid a sibling.
The poll ran for just about an hour with over 7,000 responses, which gave the singer something to ponder.
Out of the four options, 37% said “Yes” they do feel regret for not giving their lonely kid some company.
However, 29% simply selected “No,” followed by 20% opting for “I used to, but not anymore.”
The last option, “In hindsight I should’ve given them a sibling,” was chosen by 14% of the people.
The 42-year-old thanked her followers for their responses, saying, “I learned so much in just about an hour.”
Regarded as the "Queen of Rap," Minaj married Kenneth Petty and gave birth to her first and only child in September 2020.
While the poll may be just Minaj’s curiosity, some fans interpret it as her way of showing that she is contemplating giving birth to another member of her family.
Nicki Minaj's last studio album was titled Pink Friday 2 which was released on December 8, 2023. It was the sequel to the singer’s first album Pink Friday which came out in 2010.
