The hip-hop icons won big at the 2025 American Music Awards
Slim Shady and Hot Girl Meg have proved once again why they are two of the most beloved rappers of all time.
The 51st Annual American Music Awards took place on May 26 in Las Vegas and was hosted by Jennifer Lopez.
The award celebrates excellence in the North American music industry and this year was no different.
The ceremony witnessed Detroit singer Eminem win Favourite Male Hip-Hop Artist honours, twenty-two years after winning the same award.
Megan Thee Stallion solidified her legacy by winning the Favourite Female Hip-Hop Artist award over Doechii and GloRilla.
Eminem had some tough competition too as he was competing against the likes of Drake and Kendrick Lamar.
The 52-year-old also took home the prize of Favourite Hip-Hop Album with his twelfth studio title The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce).
However, the Lose Yourself hitmaker did not attend the event in person and sent a pre-recorded acceptance speech.
