Drake announces return of OVO Fest in surprise appearance

Drizzy had an eventful weekend as he continues to gain momentum this year after a rough 2024.

The rapper released his collaborative album $ome $exy $ongs 4 U on Valentine’s Day, which was a joint effort between the artist and fellow Canadian PARTYNEXTDOOR.

According to HipHopDX, SSS4U has sold over one million units in the United States, making the album eligible for the Recording Industry Association of America’s Platinum certification.

On May 24, Drake made a surprise appearance at Central Cee’s concert in Toronto where he performed his latest hit NOKIA.

The God’s Plan artist also proudly announced, “OVO Fest is back this year,” sending the crowd wild.

During the same weekend, Drake posted several pictures featuring a selfie, luxury watches, a snowy landscape painting and a diamond-cased Nokia 3310.

The caption of the post simply reads, “I C E M A N,” which has caused many fans to believe that the 38-year-old might have shared the title of his next solo album.

Interestingly, the images also included a signed jersey of legendary NBA player George Gervin who was nicknamed the Iceman.

What is OVO Fest?

OVO Fest is an annual music festival held in Toronto, Canada, organised by Drake. The rapper owns the OVO brand which also includes a record label and a fashion catalogue.
