Over the weekend, Khloe Kardashian celebrated a significant milestone for Amari Thompson, the disabled brother of her ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson.
The 34-year-old NBA star’s 18-year-old younger sibling needs full time care due to Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (LGS), a rare form of epilepsy.
After their mother Andrea passed away in January 2023 from a heart attack, Tristan was appointed Amari's legal guardian. Amari's birthday was highlighted on the Kardashian-Jenner family's Hulu show in April and they have also embraced the teen into their daily lives.
The 40-year-old, gushed, "I am so proud of this young man," as she posted excerpts from Amari's dance recital on Saturday.
"Amari is so so happy," she wrote after sharing a video clip of him performing on stage with his classmates and their dance instructors on Instagram Stories.
The reality TV star's mother Kris Jenner, 69, was also present for the dance recital.
Wearing a red sweatsuit and black and white Nike sneakers, she made an appearance in two happy pictures with Amari and her third-born child.
Amari is Tristan Thompson's younger brother, and Khloe treats him like a younger brother.
