Justin Bieber, who wrote a ‘mean’ note for wife Hailey Bieber after her Vogue cover debut, got on stage to perform with SZA during the Grand National Tour in Los Angeles.
After being called out for seemingly demeaning his wife, the 31-year-old singer publicly showed affection to SZA while performing their track Snooze together.
The two can be seen getting up close on the stage as they sang the lyrics of the song with Justin planting a kiss on the 35-year-old songstress’ hand.
The online community did not appreciate the surprise appearance by the popstar during the show which also featured Kendrick Lamar.
One X user questioned the Kill Bill hitmaker about “bringing that abuser supporter on stage.”
Another netizen asked for a “refund,” while a third one speculated about the father-of-one that it “looks like someone caught feelingsss.”
Fans were not happy with the way the Baby crooner acted around The Other Side artist as he was “showing more feelings to a friend than his wife” after reportedly “offending” the Rhode owner.
This came after the Grammy winner, who shares a nine-month-old son Jack Blues with Hailey, took to his Instagram to reveal a “huge fight” he had with his partner. He told her that “she would never be on the cover of vogue.”
After receiving heavy backlash, Justin edited the caption and instead added few emojis.
On the other hand, Hailey continues to show immense support to her partner, turning a blind eye to the excessive hate and criticism directed towards the couple. It seems like she is the only one who is holding onto their visibly broken bond, trying to prove the haters wrong.
The makeup mogul even reposted a clip of her husband performing with the Good Days crooner, calling them “My 2 favorite artists” on her Instagram story.
