Since the announcement of the highly anticipated Avengers: Doomsday film, fans have been wondering if the beloved Wolverine would be in the flick.
As Fantastic Four: First Steps will enter the MCU in Phase 6 this summer, it’ll lead to the return of the Avengers in 2026.
Jackman appeared on The View for a brief talk on the show, and he was asked if Wolverine would be returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Avengers: Doomsday.
Like most major MCU actors, he refrained from giving spoilers but went on to tease the fans instead.
Admitting that he couldn't give any details into his appearance, the actor neither confirmed nor denied the rumours.
“I really can't say much,” Jackman said, “except when you say 'appear', [it's] more like dominate and destroy every other character—I'm kidding. I really have nothing to add, and if I did, I would find a really cool way to not say it, but I actually have nothing to add.”
MCU fans are well aware of how actors keep things secret, cautious of exposing even a single detail about upcoming important projects like Avengers: Doomsday.
However, Jackman’s obscure response to Wolverine's presence in the movie suggests that he knows more than he let on.
