Aubrey O’Day, who had accused Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs of grooming her during a reality TV show, addressed her involvement in the sensational case.

The rap mogul had chosen her to join Danity Kane in 2005, before announcing that she had been fired during the finale of the show Making the Band 4, in 2008.

The Damaged singer then went on to accuse the Bad Boy Records founder of exhibiting controlling and aggressive behaviour.

Aubrey also noted that the reason she was fired was because she refused to comply with Diddy’s demands made “non-talent wise, in other areas,” on the Call Her Daddy podcast in 2022.

The 41-year-old’s statement resurfaced after she posted an Instagram story with the caption, “Hey New York!!! Where y’all think I should head first?” complete with a weighing scale emoji, fueling speculation that she might take the stand during the ongoing trial.

However, Aubrey clarified, “No, I'm not here to testify for the Diddy trial, that I know of," during the first episode of Amy Robach & T.J. Holmes present: Aubrey O’Day, Covering the Diddy Trial, on iHeart Radio.

She mentioned that she was contacted by, and had “a meeting with Homeland Security," without going into further detail.

Notably, Diddy has denied all claims made against him.

Did Aubrey O’Day show support for Cassie Ventura?

Aubrey posted a statement to her social media following Cassie’s testimony, seemingly in support of her as she ended the note with “#Cassie.”
