Julia Roberts, who is known for her Oscar-nominated role in Pretty Woman, made a heart breaking announcement after suffering a major loss.
After spending 19 years together, the 57-year-old actress bid farewell to her best pal in an emotional tribute.
The Runaway Bride star turned to her Instagram to share the sad passing of her dear dog Myrtle with a picture of the pet sitting outside with a caption: “A Legend 2006-2025.”
Julia’s husband Danny Moder was also moved at the demise of Myrtle as he wrote a special message for the furry friend, calling her the “the definition of Fierce Loyalty” in his tribute post.
Danny added a humorous twist as he revealed that the dog “bit the pizza man once.”
In 2023, the Closer star brought the pup on her Chopard campaign, who hopped on the actress’ seat and snuggled close to her mother.
The couple and their children seemingly shared a close bond with Myrtle as they used to often share several clicks of her at their social media pages.
However, Julia has successfully kept her family’s life out of spotlight as she is raising three children Hazel, Phinnaeus and Henry.
