A potential collaboration between Meghan Markle and Nicola Peltz could be brewing, but PR experts believe only one woman would walk away with the bigger win.
The Duchess of Sussex made headlines again this week after reports surfaced of a "secret summit" she and Prince Harry hosted for Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola at their Montecito home.
The exclusive dinner reportedly included top Hollywood names like Paramount CEO Brian Robbins and his wife Tracy.
While Meghan and Harry were once close with Brooklyn's famous parents, David and Victoria Beckham, tensions have reportedly strained those ties.
PR insiders now say Nicola could gain far more from any collab than Meghan would.
Sean O’Meara of Essential Content told the Mail that although Meghan and Nicola "clearly have a lot in common," any joint project would "generate plenty of interest", mostly to Nicola’s advantage.
"Nicola is well known in her own right as an actress and, to some, as 'Brooklyn Beckham’s wife'," he said. "But she’s nowhere near Meghan in terms of profile or star power. She would likely benefit more from a collaboration than Meghan."
PR expert Andy Barr of Season One Communications agreed, noting that Meghan "clearly has the upper hand when it comes to profile, a solid social media fanbase, and global appeal — with the obvious exception of Great Britain."
"For Meghan and Harry, there appears to be minimal long-term risk associated with signing any partnership with Nicola and Brooklyn, especially if the target audience is mainly in America," Barr added.
