It looks like all is not well in the Beckham household, at least not behind the filtered Instagram posts.
Victoria and David Beckham are reportedly feeling “hurt and disappointed” over eldest son Brooklyn Beckham’s noticeable absence from David’s star-studded 50th birthday celebrations, according to a source speaking to People.
“There are tensions between Brooklyn and [wife] Nicola [Peltz] and the family,” the insider revealed.
“The relationship is definitely not beyond repair. They love and are always there for him. They’re just hurt and disappointed that he’s now playing no part in family life.”
Brooklyn, 26, and wife Nicola Peltz were nowhere to be seen during any of the celebrations for David’s milestone birthday, including a lavish dinner with A-list guests like Tom Cruise, Eva Longoria, and Gordon Ramsay, and a Paris getaway Victoria later documented on Instagram.
Victoria shared heartwarming pics of the Beckham clan, tagging Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13, but there was no sign of Brooklyn or Nicola.
She captioned one post: “Creating special memories with family and friends. We love you all.”
Rumours of a Beckham-Peltz feud have followed the couple since Brooklyn and Nicola’s 2022 wedding, where fans noticed Nicola skipped a Victoria Beckham-designed gown, sparking whispers of family tension.
While Brooklyn and Nicola have both publicly denied any drama, fans continue to speculate. In an August 2022 Variety interview, Brooklyn brushed it off, saying, “Everyone gets along, which is good.”
Nicola echoed that to Cosmopolitan in 2023, saying, “I’ve said this so many times: There’s no feud... no one ever wants to write the nice things.”
