Marvel Cinematic Universe's first R-rated film, Deadpool & Wolverine, made $1.3 billion at the box office globally, becoming one of the most successful Marvel movies of all time.
Though after the successful wrap of Deadpool 3, Ryan Reynolds and the co-writer of the film, stood his ground for not bringing another solo Deadpool movie anymore.
Nine months later, the sources reveal that Deadpool star Reynolds is giving thought to bringing Deadpool back, but delivers on his words, it won’t be a solo film.
Hollywood A-lister Reynolds is currently pondering a new Deadpool movie with the inclusion of some X-Men characters. As per the sources, the new movie would include Deadpool and a couple of X-Men members.
But we can’t say if Deadpool might be even the main character this time. Witty screenwriter Reynolds believes that X-Men will get more space to shine in unusual ways when Deadpool is sidelined.
There’s no confirmation about the X-Men character Reynolds is thinking about, but there’s a buzz around the Wicked star, Cynthia Erivo. Though we can’t say anything because the casting decision will be taken by the MCU rather than Ryan Reynolds.
However, the movie is just an idea, and the iconic actor is working on it independently and hasn't officially talked with Marvel yet.
But one thing is for sure, Reynolds will only be on board with the Deadpool film if there’s a solid plot and a reason for Deadpool and X-Men collaboration.
