American actress Rachel Zegler is set to star in her first film since the underwhelming box office performance of Snow White.

The 23-year-old actress has already planned her comeback role, opposite 60-year-old Oscar winner Marisa Tomei, best known for My Cousin Vinny, in an upcoming film, despite the widespread criticism of Disney’s Snow-White remake.

According to Variety, Zegler will star as the daughter of Tomei’s wild, unruly, and free-spirited character in the upcoming comedy drama She Gets It From Me.

Gal Gadot, who portrayed the Evil Queen in Snow White, also appears to be moving past the controversy. Over the weekend, she was spotted on the set of an upcoming thriller.

In She Gets It From Me, Zegler plays Nicky, a bride-to-be whose search for her wild, unpredictable mother Charlotte (Tomei) begins during her engagement celebration.

After being separated, the two set out on a chaotic mother-daughter journey to reunite.

Is Rachel Zegler starring in any new movie?

In She Gets It From Me, Rachel Zegler will co-star with Marisa Tomei as Nicky, a young woman who sets out on a crazy quest to get back in touch with her free-spirited, estranged birth mother, Charlotte.

The movie, which is based on a true story, was directed by Julia von Heinz. Production is in progress, but no release date has been set.
