Another Simple Favor releases on May 1 featuring Blake Lively, Anna Kendrick, Michele Morrone and other big names.

With the fans' speculations and hope for A Simple Favor sequel is potentially high, the creators of the film aren’t holding back from giving a bit about the upcoming thriller comedy.

Similarly, the costume designer for the movie, Renée Ehrlich Kalfus, who worked on the movie as well, reveals how she magnified the fashion for the sequel, filmed in Italy.

Talking to the PEOPLE news outlet, Kalfus said that as they went for the shoot at Grand Hotel Quisisana on Capri, the hotel suite looked more like Lively and Kendrick’s walk-in closet rather than the space itself.

The director of the film, Paul Feig, was driven to “collaborate” with his actors for the selection of outfits because the dresses and fits create a “character for them”.

So, while shooting the post-prison scene, Lively suggestd walking in the prison suit, and the costume designer worked the dress accordingly striped coat and hoop earrings, creating an edgy look.

Likewise, the beautifully sculpted 40-lb. floral halter top from Tamara Ralph was “almost impossible to wear”, and they had to put on a corset inside to protect her during a two-day shoot.

And no one should forget about the custom-made wedding dress with bloodstains on the end of the long tail, its elegance and fierceness were on point.

But the designer said there was a dramatic story behind it when they had to take a ferry ride back to Naples to get more dye, and the ferry stopped at 6. It was nerve-wracking and dramatic.

With all this drama, creativity, and collaboration, costume designer Kalfus feels proud of her team for making it all.
