Jennifer Garner's 'witch' comment sparks reaction from Blake Lively's fans

Jennifer Garner, known for playing a secret agent Sydney Bristow in Alias, came under fire after a clip showed her seemingly mocking Blake Lively.

The resurfaced video of the 53-year-old actress is from few months before the onset of It Ends With Us drama, posted on her official Instagram page.

Jennifer can be seen dressed in the costume of Elektra for Deadpool & Wolverine, which also featured Blake’s husband Ryan Reynolds as the lead and the mother-of-four’s voice over for Ladypool.

The Once Upon a Farm co-owner walked around the set to show to “the comforts of home.” During the clip, she gave a glimpse of the place “where I go to commune with Blake Lively.”

The Elektra lead flipped the camera to say “How you doing Blake?” to a sculpture carved on the wall and complimented it as well: “You lookin’ good!”

Marvel Fans were quick to notice that the figure is Scarlet Witch, a character that was initially a supervillain of the comic world.

Although many brushed off the remark as a mere joke, TikTok and Reddit users pointed out that this might be a diss at the Gossip Girl actress by calling her a "witch."

However, there is no reported feud between the two actresses and it is unclear if they came face to face while working on the blockbuster project.

In July, Jennifer skipped the New York premiere of the superhero movie, while the Reynolds couple were present with their long-time friend and co-star Hugh Jackman.
