Fourteen years later, and Kate Middleton and Prince William are still acting like newlyweds!
As the Prince and Princess of Wales celebrate their 14th wedding anniversary, royal fans were treated to a sweet, flirty moment between the couple during their visit to Scotland.
Body language expert Judi James told The Express that Kate and William’s chemistry was on full display as they walked together in Mull, during the first day of their two-day tour of rural communities.
"William places a hand on Kate's back as she moves ahead of him," James observed.
"But there is also a prolonged moment of sheer romance between them as Kate catches his eye and her touch on his back drops low enough to almost rate as one of her flirty bottom-pats."
The couple shared a soft laugh and smiled warmly at each other, a moment James says proves they’re still very much in their "honeymoon phase."
"Their mutual softening of the features as they smile suggests that although fourteen years might have passed since they married, in many ways they are still in the honeymoon period," she added.
Ahead of the visit, William and Kate posted an excited video montage of the “beautiful” Scottish landscapes on Instagram, writing: "Looking forward to arriving in Mull tomorrow for two days celebrating and connecting with rural island communities in the beautiful Inner Hebrides."
The pair married on April 29, 2011, in a breathtaking ceremony at Westminster Abbey attended by royals, celebrities, and world leaders.
Kate stunned in a Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen gown, and William stood at the altar in full military dress, flanked by his brother, Prince Harry, as best man.
The couple is now parents to son, Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six.
