Blake Lively steps out in buttery yellow maxi dress previously worn by Beyonce

The comedy-thriller Another Simple Favor, which is a follow-up the 2018 hit A Simple Favor, is slated to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on 1st March.

At the New York City Premiere on 27th April, the star of the movie, Blake Lively, appeared in an exquisite sheer Tamara Ralph corset dress, and as if that mint blue dress weren’t enough of a staple of her style, she walked in a butter yellow dress at the after party.

Lively wore a short-sleeved crew neck sweater top with a shiny sunny yellow coloured maxi dress fastened with a coordinating belt.

The chic three-piece ensemble was lifted directly from Sergio Hudson’s Spring 2025 runway, with Blake Lively adding her signature twist through playful accessories. Staying true to her film’s Amalfi Coast vibe, the actress debuted a second pair of lemon-themed earrings and yet another quirky handbag.

Lively elevated her look with a dazzling lemon drop martini clutch by Judith Leiber, paired with sparkling ombré Christian Louboutin heels for an extra punch of glamour.

Beyoncé wore the same outfit to the Glamour Women of the Year, 2024, that was held only a few months earlier.

Although it’s not a new occasion for fashion-forward actress to adopt her stylish friends’ style sense. She is pretty smooth to catch inspiration from Taylor Swift in the past, and this time, Beyoncé.

But the catch here is that, as the movie star, Lively, recreated Beyoncé's look, it started a debate over who carried it better.
