However, a new wave of criticism ignited after several customers revealed the concerning impacts and side effects they faced after trying the skincare.
In a viral video, a TikTok user removed his glasses to show what the Rhode eyepatches did to his skin, leaving behind a “sun kisses in the fall” like redness.
The customer warned social media users to be careful while experimenting with the skincare, pointing out the “exact shape of the eyepatch” on the under eye area.
Online community instantly reacted to the clip, with many sharing their experiences. One of the Sephora workers admitted many people complain “about rashes and damage from her products.”
Another netizen asked the netizens to stop buying from the company “because it’s harming most people.”
Meanwhile, many asked the user to “check the ingredients” that might have resulted in an allergic reaction.
