Brad Pitt Reunites with A-List Team for ‘The Riders’

Brad Pitt, the ever-bankable Hollywood icon, is gearing up for another cinematic adventure, this time teaming up with Edward Berger, the acclaimed director behind Conclave, for the A24 feature The Riders.

The Riders, based on Tim Winton’s 1995 Booker Prize-shortlisted novel, will follow a heart-wrenching tale of a man journeying across Europe with his daughter in search of his missing wife.

It's safe to say, fans can expect a raw, emotional ride, with a lot of visual elegance, exactly what Berger does best.

In an exciting power move, the film ropes in heavyweights behind the scenes too: Ridley Scott is producing under his Scott Free banner, alongside Michael Pruss, Berger’s Nine Hours banner, and Pitt’s very own Plan B Entertainment team, featuring Jeremy Kleiner and Dede Gardner.

David Kajganich, who previously worked with Berger on The Terror, is adapting the screenplay and will also serve as a producer.

Production is slated to kick off in early 2026, with the crew planning to film across multiple locations in Europe. Sounds like we’re in for some serious cinematic eye candy.

Pitt, fresh off starring alongside George Clooney in Apple’s action-comedy Wolfs, and soon to hit the tracks in the F1 racing film, continues to prove that his acting gears are nowhere near slowing down.

Given Berger’s recent success with Conclave and his upcoming Netflix mystery The Ballad of a Small Player, The Riders already feels like it's revving up to be another critical darling.
