Margaret Qualley, Aubrey Plaza to star in film together

Margaret Qualley is set to take on her next big role after starring in the hugely successful film, The Substance, being joined by Aubrey Plaza.

She will be working once again with the couple, Ethan Coen and Tricia Cooke on a flick called, Honey, don’t!

Qualley will take on the role of a private investigator who is "investigating a questionable church led by Chris Evans.”

Along with her and Plaza, also joining the cast will be Charlie Day (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia), Billy Eichner (Bros), Gabby Beans (The Skin of Our Teeth), and Talia Ryder (Never Rarely Sometimes Always).

Sitting down for an interview with i-D, the Maid actress said the role required her "to be a little more suave than I am, more mysterious. I tend to want to diffuse things before they even happen. [Whereas] Honey, she’s like honey — she’s skillful, she’s smooth, she is slipping in and out undetected."

Honey, don’t! will be a quasi-sequel to the 2024 flick, Drive-Away Dolls, which showed her going on a roadtrip with her friend, being unaware that they were being chased by criminals.

The flick was described as "fun, weird, and exactly the kind of queer movie we need more of" by Out.
