Prince Harry is said to be "in the dark" about King Charles's cancer diagnosis, with reports claiming the Duke of Sussex’s recent calls and letters to his father have gone unanswered.
According to sources close to the Palace, Harry has made multiple efforts to reconnect with King Charles following his public health reveal in February 2024 but those attempts have allegedly been met with silence.
Despite briefly meeting his father during a quick visit to the UK earlier this year, insiders told People that Harry, 40, has not received any further updates about the King’s condition or prognosis. "I don’t think there is any rapprochement."
Another source added that the father-son relationship remains “distant.”
While the royal family remains tight-lipped on internal dynamics, Harry’s friends say he continues to express love and concern for his family. Speaking to Good Morning America in February after his brief reunion with Charles, Harry said: “I love my family. The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go and see him and spend any time with him, I'm grateful for that.”
The revelations come just days after Harry’s most recent trip to London for a two-day court hearing over the Home Office’s decision to downgrade his security arrangements in the UK.
Despite the King being in the country at the time, the pair did not meet—and this marks yet another UK visit without a reunion.
