HBO confirmed that worldwide sensation Harry Potter, based on the novels of J. K. Rowling is in the process of being produced as a series.
Recently, the production company has announced the cast for the upcoming series.
Although the protagonist trio, Harry, Hermione, and Ron, are yet to be cast, other important characters have been announced.
On Monday, HBO disclosed that Oscar nominee John Lithgow will be playing Albus Dumbledore.
English actor Paapa Essiedu will be playing the controversial character of Severus Snape. Janet McTeer has been announced as the Gryffindor head Minerva McGonagall. The Spaced star Nick Frost will star as Rubeus Hagrid.
Besides these, Luke Thallon will be seen in the recurring role of Quirinus Quirrell and Paul Whitehouse will appear as Argus Filch.
