Cristiano Ronaldo starts new venture with `X-Men` director

Football legend Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the most famous names of the century with many achievements to his name.

The sports icon is determined to create a collaboration between the football world and the glamorous world of Hollywood.

Ronaldo has decided to bring the two worlds together by creating a film studio with renowned British director Matthew Vaughn.

The new studio, under the banner UR-Marv, released a statement on Thursday saying it aims to “embrace innovative technology, with a nod to tradition”.

The Portuguese footballer shared a statement announcing the news on his social media accounts saying “this is an exciting chapter for me, as I look ahead to new ventures in business”.

The studio is already off to a good start as it has financed and produced two action films together and is planning to begin a third one in the series.

Vaughn is known for his dynamic storytelling, specially in the action genre. His portfolio includes X-Men: First Class, Layer Cake, Stardust and many more.
