Khloe Kardashian got candid about her experience with ex-husband Lamar Odom and discussed the amount of information sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner really have about the events leading up to her divorce.
The season 6 finale of The Kardashians included a deep dive into Khloe's seven-year relationship with Lamar, and the way she “sheltered” the two sisters from the details of the divorce.
Khloe noted that the Kylie Cosmetics owner and Kendall were too young and that they viewed Lamar with fondness.
“I feel like he really was a huge part of the family and like a big brother to me. We had a silly, funny relationship,” Kylie admitted of their bond in a confessional.
After which Khloe stated, "I didn’t wanna ruin that for them and I just wanted to preserve as much of their innocence as I could."
Kendall then proceeded to comment on the Good American apparel’s reunion with the former NBA player on an earlier episode of the show saying, “It wasn’t that you were being blatantly mean or rude, it was just like, are you thinking people are gonna judge the way you handle it? Or is it that you’re more guarded? I don’t know."
The 29-year-old followed up with advice for her elder sister noting that Khloe should find it within herself to forgive her ex but Khloe, who had ended her marriage following Lamar’s drug overdose, found it "frustrating".
She remarked that Kendall and Kylie "don’t really understand" the situation and that although she could’ve been nicer, she was dealing with a lot internally as a result of her previous interactions with Lamar.
